Legend Barrett has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team that was announced on Tuesday.
Barrett garnered First Team honors and in doing so, advanced on to the CSC Academic All-America ballot that will be announced in a few weeks.
To qualify, a student-athlete had to have possessed at least a 3.50 grade point average, been of sophomore standing and have legitimate playing credentials.
Barrett, a junior Exercise Science-Human Performance major, has played in 21 games in almost two seasons on Bison Hill. He has logged 70 minutes of playing time and accumulated 28 points with an average of 1.3 ppg.
Barrett has a career free-throw percentage of 77.8 percent, nailing 14 of 18 attempts. This season, he averages 1.3 ppg, including season-high totals of four points in back-to-back games against MidAmerica Nazarene and Ouachita Baptist.
