SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist football head coach
Chris Jensen has announced the signings of 43 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent. The 2023 football signing class includes signees from primarily Oklahoma (21) and Texas (18). The remaining commitments hail from Oregon (1), Georgia (1), Arizona (1), and California (1).
The offense inked 20, including 12 offensive linemen, two running backs, three quarterbacks, one wide receiver, and two tight ends. Defensively, this year's class included two defensive linemen, nine inside linebackers, four outside linebackers, and four defensive backs. Lastly, four kickers signed NLI's to join the green and gold.
"I am pleased with the overall quality of players we have coming in," said Jensen. "The effort our coaching staff put into recruiting such good talent is a testament to their hard work."
