Harris Declares for NFL Draft

SHAWNEE – Former Bison All-American wideout Keilahn Harris has declared for the 2023 NFL Draft, the Richardson, Texas native announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The news is no surprise as Harris finishes his time on Bison Hill as one of the most decorated athletes in Oklahoma Baptist history.

Following another historic football season, Harris has continued to make headlines. The receiver was named to the D2CCA All-Super Region 3 team for a second consecutive season, garnered All-GAC First Team honors, and accepted an invitation to compete in the 2023 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. He is the first Bison in program history to earn an invite to the bowl game.

The NFLPA bowl, scheduled for Jan. 28, will take place at the legendary Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA. Nearly 200 scouts, player personnel staff, general managers, and head coaches from all 32 NFL teams are expected to be in attendance to watch live practices, conduct player interviews and review tape.

Most recently, Harris was named to the D2Football.com Elite 100 First Team for All-Purpose. He was one of three players from the GAC to earn First Team honors from the committee. Before the start of the 2022 season, he landed a spot on the 2022 D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch list.

Harris concluded his career with a program record 4,161 all-purpose yards, including 2,510 receiving, 66 punt return, and 1,570 kick return yards.

Harris set all-time OBU marks for receptions (196), receiving yards, and kick return yards. He checks in at No. 2 in the history books for receiving scores (26) and receiving yards per game (73.8). Furthermore, he became the second wideout in Bison history to record back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons.
