SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist football team enters its 2022 campaign following its most successful season in school history, which saw the program's first postseason victory in the Fun Town RV Heritage Bowl. The Bison concluded the year with eight wins, the most since its rebirth, and extended its win streak over in-state opponents to 16, which dates back to the 2017 season.
Head coach Chris Jensen begins his 10th season on Bison Hill and has taken the program to new heights since its rebirth in 2013. This season, Jensen and staff will have the task of replacing a senior class that changed the makeup of Bison football forever.
OBU will open its 2022 campaign on September 1, under the lights, against nationally ranked Ouachita Baptist for the first ever Thursday night contest inside Crain Family Stadium.
Jensen and Clayton Coffman sat down to discuss this year's team.
