EDMOND, Okla. – After the final round of play at the Grace Shin Invitational, Oklahoma Baptist finished seventh of nine teams on Tuesday afternoon . The Bison turned in a final round 319 (+35).
Morgan Becker wrapped up the event as the highest placed Bison, finishing in a tie for ninth after shooting a 78 (+7). Becker made par on 12 of 19 holes to bring her tournament total to 26, the best among 57 players.
Lindyn Ross climbed five spots to tie at 18th, following a second-round 76 (+5). It was the best score among Bison participants today, sinking a couple of birdies on holes 11 and 17.
Josie Patterson followed up her opening round with an 81 (+10) to tie at 33rd, while Karlee Holcomb and Valentina Nunez-Butzonitch finished at the 43rd and 47th spots. Holcomb carded an 84 (+13), while Nunez-Butzonitch posted an 86 (+15).
Rylei Gunter matched Nunez-Butzonitch's 86 for 48th overall while Sam Lehr rounded off the scoring with an 88 (+17).
Next for the green and gold is the Midwest Classic in Maryville, Mo. on Oct. 17-18.
