BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - The Bison women's golf team closed play Wednesday with an 11th-place finish at the Central Region Fall Review.Â
Oklahoma Baptist ranked fourth in total team birdies, chipping in 14 throughout the event.
Hayden Meiser was OBU's top finisher in the season-opening tournament as she finished tied for 31st place. Meiser posted a final round 81 that featured two birdies, one more than she notched in the first round.
Valentina Nunez-Butzonitch followed her teammate up with a 36th-place finish and a final round score of 82. The sophomore put in one birdie today.
Senior
Josie Patterson totaled two birdies en route to a final round 81 and tied for 43rd. Freshman
Karlee Holcomb played the best round of the day for OBU, including two birdies on the front nine. Holcomb improved her score by 11 strokes in this round, finishing at 77.
Lindyn Ross, the other Freshman in the Bison lineup, posted an 81, a three-stroke step-up from yesterday's round.
Defending GAC Champion Henderson State took the tournament's top spot, followed by Arkansas Tech in second.Â
Oklahoma Baptist returns to action on Sept. 18 when they begin play at the NSU Women's Golf Classic in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
