EDMOND, Okla. – The Oklahoma Baptist women's golf team battled high winds in the second round of the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational, finishing in a tie for fifth place with Oklahoma City University. The Bison posted a 36-hole total of 635 (+75).

Michelle Carr was the top finisher for the Bison, carding a two-round total of 156 (+16) to place her in a six-way tie for 16th in the individual standings.

Josie Patterson (+22),
Valentina Nunez-Butzonitch (+22), and
Shelby Phillips (+26).

Emma Shelly of the University of Central Oklahoma was the top individual finisher with a two-round total of 145 (+5). UCO was also the top team finisher with a two-round total of 610 (+50).

OBU also brought a second team to the tournament, which finished 14th after two-round total of 701 (+141).

OBU will return to action on Monday, March 22, at the Henderson State Spring Invitational in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
