It's the second contest this season between the Bison and Rangers. A little over a month ago, OBU earned a 3-0 win at Northwestern as Taneyah Brown tallied a team-high 13 kills. Defensively, the green and gold came up with 10 total blocks, its third-highest mark this year, and held the Rangers to a .081 attack mark.

Most recently, OBU has won five straight (16-3, 9-2 GAC) and sits within a game of first place in the Great American Conference. The success this season has much to do with the Bison being one of the most balanced teams in Division II.

The Bison offense ranks 14th in kills per set (13.98), 21st in assists (12.73) and 37th in hitting percentage (.240). On the defensive end, OBU sits in 21st in blocks per set (2.32) and 28th in opponent hitting percentage (.131).

Leading the charge individually is a handful of players. Middle blocker Audrey Poupard is 17th in the country in blocks per set (1.19) and is eighth in the GAC in hitting percentage (.306). Libero Diana Carranza is the only player in the GAC to rank in the top-10 in both digs (8th) and service aces (10th). Setter Kaylee Buell ranks second in assists (9.68) while outside hitter Malia Leatherland is slotted fourth in points (3.61) and fifth in kills (3.17).

Here's a look at the Rangers:

Northwestern Oklahoma State | Great American Conference | Spring 2021 Record: 9-6

The Rangers have put together a three-match winning streak as of late. Their most recent contest, a 3-2 victory against Southern Arkansas, improved the team's record to 9-16 and 4-7 in the GAC. That win has NWOSU in seventh place in the GAC. The top eight teams will qualify for the conference championship that is set to begin Nov. 18 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Coming into the season, coach Fred Aubuchon's team was picked to finish in fifth in the GAC Preseason Poll. As a unit, the Rangers have struggled in a few categories this season. They rank in the bottom-third of the GAC in hitting percentage, assists, kills, aces and digs. NWOSU's best mark is fifth in blocks (1.84).

Here's a look at the Rangers' key players:
No. 1 Carmae Jones | Her 1.02 blocks per set average is 5th in the GAC
No. 5 Kaydee Honeycutt | 2021 Spring All-GAC First Team; Leads the GAC in kills (3.55)
No. 10 Addison Wimmer | Ranks 3rd in kills (3.34) and 17th in digs (2.89)
No. 17 Tarra Parks | Sits in 6th in the GAC in digs (4.45).
