Five Bison Named All-American Scholars

SHAWNEE – Five members of the Bison women's golf team were named All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association Monday.
 
Earning national recognition for their work in the classroom were graduates Michelle Carr and Olivia Klefsaas, senior Shelby Phillips, and juniors Josie Patterson and Hayden Meiser.
 
OBU now boasts a total of 10 student-athletes who have received WGCA honors. 
 
The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
 
OBU's 2020 season was cut short due to COVID-19, but four of the five Bison honorees are set to return for next season.
