Bison Football Welcomes 27 on National Signing Day

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist football coach Chris Jensen has announced the signings of 27 student-athletes to National Letters of Intent. The 2020 football signing class includes student-athletes primarily from Texas (18) and Oklahoma (6), with one player coming from New Mexico, Florida, and Colorado.

By position group, this year's class includes six defensive linemen, five offensive linemen, four quarterbacks, four running backs, three defensive backs, two wide receivers, two tight ends, one linebacker, and one kicker.

"It's a great day on Bison Hill," said Jensen. "We're so excited with those who signed. It's a product of the hard work the coaches put in throughout the year. It's a great group of young men who fit our program."

Jensen, who just completed his seventh year, and his staff completed their most successful season since joining NCAA Division II in 2019 at 7-4. OBU has now won 11 straight games over Oklahoma schools and has completed a second consecutive perfect record against its Oklahoma counterparts (5-0).
