SHAWNEE - Sophomore
Josie Patterson shot a 73 (+1) in the first round of the OBU Fall Invitational to take hold of the top spot in the event on Monday afternoon. The Bison as a team shot a 312 (+24) to sit in second place after the first day of the event at the Shawnee Country Club.
Senior
Michelle Carr followed in second place with a 78 (+6) while sitting in fifth place while junior
Shelby Phillips shot an 80 (+8) and currently sits in eighth place. Sophomore
Hayden Meiser shot an 81 (+9) while senior
Elly Baze shot an 88 (+16) to round out the scoring on the A team.
Senior
Olivia Klefsaas led the OBU B Team after she shot an 80 (+8) to sit in eighth, putting four Bison in the Top 10. Sophomore
Kailee McCrary shot an 81 (+9) while senior
Grace Johnson and junior
Shelby Palmour each had an 89 (+17). Sophomore
Abby Boren rounded out the scoring with a 90 (+18).
Redlands CC leads the event after shooting a 309 (+21) while Arkansas-Monticello is third after shooting a 323 (+35). The OBU B Team finished with a 339 (+51) while Oklahoma Panhandle State rounded things out with a 377 (+89).
The Bison return to action tomorrow morning beginning at 8:10 AM as they look to make a run in the final round of play.
