TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - The Oklahoma Baptist women's golf team shot a 317 (+29) in the final round of the NSU Women's Golf Classic for a two-round score of 630 (+54) to finish in sixth place among the 14-team field.

Hayden Meiser shot an 80 (+8) during the final round for a two-round score of 155 (+11) to lead the Bison with a 12th place finish. SeniorÂ
Michelle Carr put together a nice round of 79 (+7) for a two-round score of 157 (+13).
Senior
Elly Baze shot an 80 (+8) for the round for a two-round score of 159 (+15) while junior
Shelby Phillips matched Baze in the total score after shooting a team-low 78 (+6) on Tuesday. Both players had a birdie in the round. SophomoreÂ
Josie Patterson had a pair of birdies on Tuesday as she had a two-round score of 167 (+23).
Rogers State won the event witha a two-round score of 609 (+33) while Henderson State was secon dwith a score of 613 (+37). Oklahoma Christian placed third with a two-round score of 614 (+38) while Harding and Northeastern State tied for fourth place with a two-round score of 616 (+40).
The Bison will take a week off before returning to action on Monday, September 23rd for the OBU Invitational hosted by Shawnee Country Club.
