HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The OBU women's golf team finished in sixth place at the 2019 Great American Conference Championship which concluded Tuesday at the par-72 Park Course at Hot Springs Country Club.

Elly Baze was the low individual performer for OBU, finishing in a tie for 19
th at 23-over-par after a final-round 79 (+7).

Michelle Carr finished 28
th overall with a three-round total of plus-29.
Shelby Phillips (84, +12) and
Hayden Meiser (85, +13) provided the final two scores for OBU's final round team total of 338 (+50).

Arkansas Tech took the team title after posting a final round team score of 287 (-1). The Golden Suns' Allie Weiner claimed individual medalist honors on the strength of a five-under-par 67 in the final round to put her at 219 (+3) for the championship.

The Lady Bison now await word on a potential berth in the NCAA Central Super Regional, scheduled for May 6-8 at Muskogee Golf Club in Muskogee, Oklahoma. OBU was ranked 10
th in the latest regional rankings released on April 11.
