HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The OBU women's golf team is in sixth place following rounds one and two at the 2019 Great American Conference Championship. The Lady Bison posted team scores of 316 (+28) and 323 (+35) on the first 36 holes at the par-72 Park Course at Hot Springs Country Club.

Michelle Carr leads the way for OBU, standing in a tie for 13
th place overall at 155 (+11) after rounds of 78 and 77.

Elly Baze recorded a first-round 78 (+6), and added a 10-over-par 82 in round two, good for a tie for 21
st.
Hayden Meiser and
Shannen Stewart rounded out the Lady Bison's first round team total with a pair of 81s (+9).

Meiser (83, +11) and
Shelby Phillips (81, +9) were OBU's final counting scores on the second 18.

Southwestern Oklahoma State leads the team standings at 594 (+18), four shots clear of second-place Arkansas Tech (598, +22).

The Lady Bulldogs' Chloe Thackeray holds a two-shot lead over ATU's Jacqueline Klemm at two-over-par headed to tomorrow's final 18.
