CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Oklahoma Baptist diving team traveled to Delta State for the DSU Diving Invitational over the weekend, picking up several top-six finishes.
The invitational meet was an unscored event, with divers from West Florida, Lindenwood, Maryville, and Delta State competing against the Bison.
Cassidy Wright led the way for OBU, finishing third in the 1m championship final with a score of 382.25 to go along with a fourth-place finish in the 3m championship final after scoring 375.25.
In the consolation final of the 1m,
Anna Kathleen Harris placed third after posting a 306.55.
Brianna Reece finished one spot behind Harris in fourth with a score of 290.35, while
Mikaela Pitsch placed seventh after scoring 251.80.
Reece led the way for the Bison women in the 3m consolation final, placing third with a score of 301.60. Harris and Pitsch placed sixth and seventh with scores of 268.60 and 256.55, respectively.
On the men's side,
Noah Harlow scored 332.45 to claim sixth in the 1m championship final, and 325.00 to take home fifth place in the 3m championship final.
