WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Oklahoma Baptist women's golf team shot a 314 (+34) on Monday afternoon to sit in ninth place at the 2019 Midwest Classic at Mules National Golf Club.
Hayden Meiser led the charge with a 75 (+3) on the afternoon to sit in 14th place while
Josie Patterson shot a 78 (+6) in the round. Meiser finished with 12 pars in the round while Patterson had 11.
Elly Baze followed with an 80 (+8) followed by
Shelby Phillips with an 81 (+9) and
Michelle Carr with an 86 (+14). Carr did have an eagle in the round.
Northeastern State leads the way after shooting a 295 (+15) followed by Missouri Western State in second at 300 (+20). Central Missouri and Central Oklahoma tied for third after they both shot a 302 (+22) while Southwestern Oklahoma State was fifth with a team score of 303 (+23).
OBU is back in action tomorrow morning for the second and final round of the event as well as their final round of the fall. The teams tee off at 8 am.
