SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist won its OBU Fall Invitational Tuesday, running away with a 25-stroke win.

OBU shot 318 in the second round to finish at 628, securing its first tournament win since April 5, 2016, at the OBU Spring Invitational.

Shelby Phillips finished second to lead the team effort, shooting 80 on Tuesday to finish at 152. Marvelyn Kartika edged Phillips by one stroke, shooting 74 Tuesday to get to 151.

Following the Lady Bison were Harding at 653, Murray State at 659, Southern Arkansas at 663, Redlands at 670, Northwestern Oklahoma State at 695, OBU "B" at 697, Arkansas-Monticello at 714, Seminole State at 751, Kansas Wesleyan at 753 and Oklahoma Panhandle State at 813.

Elly Baze tied for sixth place at 158 after shooting 80 on Tuesday.
Hayden Meiser shot 81 in the second round to finish eighth at 159 and
Josie Patterson tied for ninth at 160 after a 78 Tuesday.
Shannen Stewart had an 80 on Tuesday to take a tie for 15
th at 164.

Olivia Klefsaas led the OBU B team in a 15
th-place tie at 164 after an 83 on Tuesday.
Kailee McCrary tied for 19
th at 167 after a second-round 85.
Michelle Carr, shooting 86 Tuesday, finished at 170 for a 24
th-place tie.
Abby Boren repeated a round of 98 for a 196 and a tie for 39
th.
