Lady Bison Finish 10th at NSU

TAHLEQUAH – Oklahoma Baptist finished 10^th at the 20^th annual NSU Golf Classic Tuesday at Cherokee Springs Golf Course.
 
OBU shot 316 on the second day to finish at 627 and just four strokes back of Arkansas-Fort Smith and Henderson State. Oklahoma Christian won with a tournament record 594.
 
Shannen Stewart and Elly Baze tied for 27^th at 157. Stewart shot 78 and 79 and Baze went 79 and 78. Sydney Bowman shot back-to-back rounds of 79 to finish 36^th at 158.
 
Josie Patterson (75-85) and Shelby Phillips (80-80) tied for 43^rd at 160.
 
Also for OBU, Hayden Meiser shot 162 with rounds of 83 and 70 and Michelle Carr went 84-84 for 168.
 
OC, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Central Oklahoma, Northeastern State, Missouri Western State, Central Missouri, Nebraska-Kearney, HSU and UAFS finished ahead of the Lady Bison.
 
OBU ended up ahead of Lindenwood, Northwest Missouri, Southern Nazarene, Fort Hays State, Harding, Missouri Southern State, Southwest Baptist and Lincoln.
 
The Lady Bison return to the links in Shawnee Sept. 24-25 in the OBU Fall Invitational at the Shawnee Country Club.
