SAINT CHARLES, Mo. – (
Final Results) Oklahoma Baptist women's golf wrapped up the 2017-18 season Wednesday with a 10
th place finish at the Central Region super regional.

It was the first NCAA postseason appearance for the Lady Bison in their first year of eligibility since OBU completed the transition process to become full members of Division II.

The Lady Bison shot 310 in the third and final round at Missouri Bluffs Golf Club, marking the lowest team score of the spring. OBU finished with a 948 (316, 322, 310) total for the tournament, four strokes ahead of Nebraska-Kearney and Minnesota State.

Three Lady Bison registered rounds in the 70's Wednesday, led by
Shelby Phillips at three-over 75. Phillips finished tied for 46
th place at 238 (82, 81, 75).
Michelle Carr closed out the tournament with a round of 77 to finish tied for 48
th at 239 (82, 80, 77).
Shannen Stewart carded 78 in round three and had the best individual finish for the Lady Bison, tying for 37
th place at 234 (71, 85, 78).

Elly Baze tied for 50
th with a 240 (81, 78, 81) three-round total and
Sydney Bowman placed 60
th at 245 (82, 83, 80).

Augustana was crowned Central Regional champions with a score of 890 (302, 296, 292), Lindenwood finished runner-up at 900 (305, 293, 302) and Arkansas Tech was third following a 902 (301, 307, 294) three-round total. Kali Trautman of Augustana claimed the individual title at one-under 215 (74, 69, 72).

OBU will graduate three seniors from the program, including
Paige Neidy,
Kadrian Shelton and
Sidney Stover.
