SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – (
Round One Results) Oklahoma Baptist is ninth after the opening round at the Central Region Spring Preview Monday.

The Lady Bison shot 328 as a team in the first round at Rivercut Golf Course in a field that includes 18 of the top teams in the Central Region. Southwestern Oklahoma State leads the field by seven strokes after opening at 301 and four players are tied for the individual lead at two-over 74.

Sophomore
Elly Baze paced the team with an 80 in the first round and is currently tied for 25
th place with one round remaining.
Michelle Carr is tied for 29
th after carding 81 and
Sydney Bowman finished at 83 to tie for 48
th place.
Shannen Stewart shot 84 Monday to tie for 52
nd and
Shelby Phillips is tied for 73
rd after an 89 on Monday.

Play will conclude with a final round of 18 holes Tuesday at Rivercut Golf Course. Round two will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
