Tournament Notes

SHAWNEE – Coming off their best finish of the spring, Oklahoma Baptist returns to the course Monday at the 2018 HSU Spring Invitational, hosted by Henderson State.
 
OBU tied for second at the 2018 Holiday Inn Express MWSU Women's Spring Invitational, paced by a fifth-place finish from Michelle Carr. She was named Great American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance.
 
Four Lady Bison placed in the top 25, including Elly Baze who tied for 19^th place. Sydney Bowman was 21^st and Shannen Stewart finished tied for 22^nd place. Shelby Phillips tied for 45^th at the tournament.
 
The Lady Bison will play 18 holes Monday with a final round of 18 Tuesday at Big Creek Golf & Country Club in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
 
Big Creek opened in 2000 and was designed by Thomas Clark. The course features Zoysia fairways and bent grass greens. It has been ranked the No. 1 public course in Arkansas on multiple occasions by Golfweek and by readers of Arkansas Business magazine.
