GREENSBORO, N.C. – Oklahoma Baptist crowned another event champion Thursday at the NCAA Division II Men's Swimming and Diving Championships.

OBU is fourth in the standings at the halfway point of the championships with 150 points. Queens (N.C.) leads the standings at 296, followed by Indianapolis at 161, California Baptist at 154 and OBU. After two nights, 30 teams have scored in the championships.

JP Goyetche swam a 1:18.11 and won the 200 freestyle relay by more than half a second. It is OBU's first relay champion.

"It's a long meet and it's going to be a dogfight," said OBU Coach Sam Freas. "I'm really proud of that relay team."

Otto Lehtonen placed third in the one-meter diving at 517.25.

OBU took ninth in the 400 medley relay in 3:15.02. Goyetche,
Fernando Morillas Ramos,
Felipe Ramirez Zapata and Lambert scored in the event for the Bison.

Zapata took 14
th in the 100 butterfly at 48.33

Kristijan Stunkovic was 20
th at 3:58.39 in the 400 individual medley.
