Lady Bison 12th at St. Edward's Invite

AUSTIN, Texas – (First Round Results) Oklahoma Baptist is 12^th following the first round at the St. Edward's Invitational Monday at Onion Creek Club.
 
OBU shot 326 as a team in the opening round of the spring semester. Tarleton State leads the tournament at the midway point following a 299 Monday.
 
Michelle Carr paced the Lady Bison with a nine-over 79 and is tied for 28^th individually. Elly Baze finished in 80 strokes and is T34, Shannen Stewart shot 81 and Sydney Bowman carded an 86. Freshman Shelby Phillips turned in a 90 in round one.
 
Tarleton State's Casey Wild and Maria Regina Gonzalez of St. Mary's share the individual lead at 73.
 
The Lady Bison will wrap up the first tournament of 2018 on Tuesday.
