Bison Dominate at Little Rock Invite

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist dominated the competition at the Little Rock Invitational with 875 points Saturday.
 
OBU left in its wake Henderson State at 690, Lindenwood-Belleville at 554, University of the Ozarks at 212 and Hendrix at 15.
 
Otto Lehtonen easily won one- and three-meter diving with 252.60 points in three-meter and the one-meter at 308.50.
 
The 200-yard medley relay team of Felipe Ramirez Zapata, Davion Conley, Austin Saunders and Ryan Walker won in 1:32.98, which is the No. 9 time in NCAA Division II.
 
Zapata won the 100-yard butterfly in 50.12 seconds for the No. 9 time in NCAA II. Zapata also won the 200 backstroke in 1:53.58. He won the 100-yard backstroke in 51.59 seconds.
 
Walker won the 100-yard freestyle in 47.25 seconds. He also won the 200-yard free in 1:45.14.
 
Alfredo Arrieche took the 500-yard freestyle in 4:43.85.
 
Conley won the 100-yard breaststroke in 57.57 seconds.
 
OBU is back in the water for the Missouri Invitational Nov. 15.
