Lady Bison Seventh After UCO Opening Round

EDMOND – Oklahoma Baptist shot a first-round 312 Monday and is in seventh among the 17 teams at the UCO Classic at the Golf Club of Edmond.
 
Shannen Stewart led the Lady Bison with a 75 with birdies on the par-5 No. 2, par-5 No. 9 and par-3 No. 14 holes. She is tied for 17^th.
 
Josie Patterson birdied four times on the course's back nine to finish at 78. She birdied holes 11, 15, 17 and 18.
 
Sydney Bowman fired 79, Elly Baze came in at 80 and Shelby Phillips carded an 88.
 
Participating as individuals, Hayden Meiser shot 85 and Olivia Klefsaas had an 86.
