SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist men's cross country returns home to host the OBU Invitational at Gordon Cooper Technology Center on Saturday, Oct. 6 in the squad's only home action this season. The 8,000-meter race is set to begin at 10:40 a.m.
The Bison finished first among a field of eight teams last year.
DeAngelo Robles is the team's top returning runner from the 2017 edition of the race after finishing in fifth in a time of 26:50.09.
Garrett Elmore and
Nathan Crowson also secured finishes in the top 20, while
Jarrett Ellis completed the course in 24th place.
As a team, OBU finished with an average time of 27:05.42, besting second place by over 40 seconds.
Saturday's meet will be the first action for OBU since they ran at the Chili Pepper Festival on Sept. 22.
