Harris Eighth in Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Freshman Patrick Harris finished eighth among 441 runners at the University of Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational Saturday.
 
The Bison finished 16^th out of 44 teams with 427 points and a total time of 2:17:58.
 
Harris completed the course in 26:23, followed by Deangelo Robles in 52^nd at 27:11 and Jacob Janzen in 62^nd at 27:16.
 
Jarrett Ellis was 140^th at 28:23 and Garrett Elmore finished the scoring at 165^th in 28:45. Chris Lobaugh was 170^th at 28:46 and Nathan Crowson was 196^th at 29:14.
 
Also for the Bison, Gerardo Tarango finished in 31:07.9.
 
Augustana won the race with 49 points and four runners in the top 10.
 
OBU returns to action Oct. 7 in the Bison Invitational at Gordon Cooper Technology Center.
