SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist begins Great American Conference play Tuesday against Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva for the third straight season.

The Lady Bison are 25-7 facing GAC opponents since provisionally joining the league in 2015. This will mark the first conference match since OBU became an official member of NCAA Division II and a full member of the GAC.

Following two weeks of tournaments in Florida and Missouri, the Lady Bison are finally returning to Oklahoma to face a familiar opponent. OBU is 4-0 against Northwestern in the past two seasons, and the Lady Bison own an 8-2 all-time advantage over the Rangers in a series that stretches back to 1977.

The Rangers are owners of a 5-4 record, but enter Tuesday's contest on a four-match losing streak. NWOSU has a .195 attack percentage and averages 11.3 kills per set. Jennifer Eubanks paces the team with 2.83 kills per set on a stellar .363 attack percentage and leads the team with 0.95 blocks per set. Kiauna Clark (5.27 assists/set) and Kaitlyn Robinson (4.73 assists/set) have split the setting duties through nine matches. Carley Geer holds down the back line with 4.30 digs per set and Tobi Barker has 13 service aces to lead the Rangers.

Through eight matches this season, the Lady Bison have earned 12.1 kills per set while hitting at a clip of .199. Redshirt freshman
Mikayla Watson leads the team with 2.85 kills per set and 3.26 digs.
Cadyn Laing has 41 total blocks for a 1.21 per-set average and hits at an efficient .367. As a team the OBU averages 2.44 blocks per set, which ranks 19
th in NCAA Division II. Junior
Nicole Fleitman picked up her second triple-double of the season against Emporia State and is now tied for the most triple-doubles in the nation.
