SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist starts its first men's cross country season as a full NCAA member with a No. 3 ranking in the preseason Great American Conference coaches' poll.

The Bison received 25 points in the seven-team poll and are slotted behind East Central and Harding. ECU received five first-place votes and 35 points, while Harding had two first-place votes and 31 points.

Following the Bison are Southern Arkansas at 23, Southern Nazarene at 16, Northwestern Oklahoma State at 11 and Arkansas-Monticello at 6.
