SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist track and field heads to the Drake Relays this weekend in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Bison and Lady Bison will begin competition at the prestigious event on Wednesday, with the meet finishing Saturday.

Head Coach
Ford Mastin will be inducted into the Drake Relays Hall of Fame in a ceremony during the meet, honoring his achievements as the head coach of Oklahoma Baptist.

Combined events will start Wednesday and wrap up Thursday morning. Thursday will also include a distance carnival that evening. Friday's running events begin at 8 a.m., with field events starting at 8:30 a.m. Running events kick off at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and field events start at 9 a.m.

On Saturday, OBU athletes will also compete in the Southwestern College Relays in Winfield, Kansas.

Bison men have five top marks in the NCCAA this year, while the Lady Bison have posted eight marks that lead the NCCAA.
