SHAWNEE – In a rare Thursday-Friday tournament, Oklahoma Baptist will face a tough field beginning tomorrow at the Augustana Spring Fling, hosted at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, California.

Four schools ranked in the Golfstat top-25 rankings will comprise the nine-team field, including reigning national champion Indianapolis and runner-up Rollins. In addition, 16
th-ranked California State-San Marcos and 23
rd-ranked University of Central Oklahoma will also play in the tournament.

The course will play as a par 72 at 5901 yards for both rounds of competition. Thursday and Friday will each feature 18 holes and a 1 p.m. Pacific (3 p.m. Central) shotgun start.

Michelle Carr paced the Lady Bison with a T35 finish the last time the team competed, at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational on March 6-7.
Shannen Stewart posted the low round of the tournament for OBU at 79, and
Emma Williams was consistent both days, posting the third-lowest overall score on the team.

Elly Baze and
Paige Neidy will also compete for OBU this weekend. Baze has two top-10 finishes this year, and Neidy will make her third straight start of the spring.
