The Bison are coming off their first win of the season, a 28-24 victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State, and look to make it two in a row.

Northwestern is 3-6 on the season and on a three-game slide, including losses at home to Harding and road setbacks at Arkansas Tech and Southern Nazarene. NWOSU has been outscored 144-47 in the last three games. The Rangers are 1-3 at home.

Oklahoma Baptist snagged its first GAC Player of the Week honor with
Daniel Moniz getting the Defensive Player of the Week award for his efforts against Southwestern Oklahoma State. Moniz, a senior defensive end from Claremore, forced two fumbles on Southwestern's last two drives - the first setting up the game-winning touchdown. He also was in on a sack with
Dennis Nguyen to snuff the Bulldog's last possession. Moniz also had five tackles. It is the first Player of the Week honor for Moniz and the first OBU Defensive Player of the Week award since Charles Taylor III was honored in week 2 of last season.

Preston Haire is fifth in the Great American Conference with 201 passing yards per game. He is fourth with 15 passing touchdowns and 213 yards total offense per game.
