SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist swimming and diving faces their toughest test of the season this weekend at the Missouri Invitational in Columbia, Missouri.

The Bison and Lady Bison will compete against a number of NCAA Division I teams at the Mizzou Aquatic Center from Thursday through Saturday. Swimming preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. each morning with the finals set for a 6 p.m. start. Women's three-meter diving will take place on Thursday and the one-meter competition is set for Friday. The men will compete on the one-meter board Thursday with three-meter diving set for Friday.

OBU men own NCAA Division II top-10 times several events.
David Lambert owns the fastest 50-yard freestyle this season in 20.15.
Fernando Morillas Ramos is 10
th in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:05.02.

Bison men also own the fifth-fastest times in both the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 800-yard freestyle relay. Diver
Otto Lehtonen is eighth in the one-meter event with a score of 325.90 and is 10
th in the three-meter competition at 306.05.

Victoria Fonville is second in the 50-yard freestyle in 20.33 and ranks third in the 100-yard freestyle at 51.46.
Celina Marquez owns the third-fastest 200-yard backstroke in 2:03.26 and is eighth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.55.
Juliana Cifuentes has posted the ninth-best 200-yard individual medley time in 2:07.58.

OBU women also have the ninth-best time in the 400-yard freestyle relay this season in 3:31.64.

Oklahoma Baptist men are ranked 14
th in the latest CollegeSwimming.com poll and the women are ranked 16
th.
