Bison Host OBU Invitational Saturday

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist Cross Country will host the OBU Invitational meet this Saturday at Gordon Cooper Technology Center.
 
The Bison will compete at 10:40 a.m. against nine teams from Butler, No. 16 Dallas Baptist, East Central, Hardin-Simmons, Oklahoma Christian, Ozark Christian College, Science & Arts of Oklahoma, Southern Nazarene, and St. Gregory's.
 
Seventy-nine men will compete in the 8k event on Saturday, including nine from Oklahoma Baptist. Among those nine are past Great American Conference Runners of the Week Jacob Janzen and Patrick Harris.
 
The Bison look to build upon a solid showing at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minnesota two weeks ago as they compete in their first and only home meet of the 2017 season.
