OBU Finishes Austin Event

AUSTIN, Texas – Oklahoma Baptist concluded its weekend at the Pro Swim Series at Austin, which featured a few colleges and numerous Olympic medalists and national team swimmers from around the globe.
 
"We did fine in that competition," said OBU Coach Sam Freas.

JP Goyetche was 15^th in the 100 backstroke at 58.52 with Felipe Ramirez in 52^nd at 1:01.70.
 
Kristijan Stunkovic was 23^rd in the 200 butterfly at 2:08.30 and Ramirez was 43^rd at 2:12.32.
 
Alex Mundt was 33^rd in the 200 individual medley at 2:12.13 with Stunkovic finishing 48^th at 2:14.32.
 
Juliana Cifuentes places 33^rd in the 100 breaststroke at 1:17.14 and 102^nd in the 200 IM at 2:33.67.
 
OBU returns to action in a home meet Jan. 25.
