SHAWNEE – The rivalry gets renewed when Oklahoma Baptist hosts Southern Nazarene for Great American Conference action at 7 p.m. on Thursday night inside the Noble Complex. Oklahoma Baptist and the Crimson Storm are the only two remaining undefeated Oklahoma members of the GAC.

Oklahoma Baptist (8-7, 2-0 GAC) is riding a four-match win streak into Thursday night's contest following a win over Southeastern Oklahoma State on Tuesday night.
Nicole Fleitman and
Shekinah Sharpe lead the attack at 3.00 and 2.17 kills per set each, though OBU got solid offense up the middle from middle hitters
Cadyn Laing and
Taylor Williams on Tuesday.
Kynnedy Myers has been on a hot streak herself, reaching at least 40 assists in three of the last four matches.

Defensively, averaging 17.39 digs per set, third-most in the GAC, led by
Sierra VeraCruz at 3.93 digs/set. The Lady Bison's defense at the net, where Laing has a GAC-leading 18 solo blocks, is averaging 2.07 blocks per set.

Southern Nazarene (5-4, 1-0 GAC) has won two out of their last three matches, including a 3-1 victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State on Tuesday night. The squad has the second highest kills per set average in the league at 13.03, and are led by McKayla Benner at 2.87 kills/set. The Crimson Storm is averaging 1.76 blocks/set and 17.87 digs/set.
