Lady Bison Tied for Fifth


Round One Results

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – After the first day at NCCAA Women's Golf National Championship, Oklahoma Baptist is tied for fifth.
 
The Lady Bison are just 11 strokes out from third place at the challenging Hombre Golf Club. Monday's configuration featured a par of 72 with a layout of 5880 yards. Dallas Baptist is the leader after an opening round of 308.
 
OBU was paced by Michelle Carr, who sits in fifth place after an opening round 81. Carr shot a three-over 39 on the front, the best nine of the day for the Lady Bison.
 
Freshman Elly Baze shot 86 and is tied for 20th place individually. Kadrian Shelton finished in 92 strokes.
 
Emma Williams shot 93 on the day, and Shannen Stewart finished in 96.
 
Play will continue Tuesday and Wednesday at the Hombre.
