DURANT – Oklahoma Baptist's
Jacob Janzen earned First-Team All-Great American Conference honors Saturday, placing third in the Great American Conference championship.

Janzen, a sophomore, is the first OBU men's cross country runner to earn All-GAC honors. He covered the eight-meter course in 25:10.0

The top 10 finishers were named All-Conference.
Â
Due to its provisional membership status in the NCAA, OBU was not able to compete for the team championship.

Deangelo Robles placed 13
th at 24:45.7 to claim second-team All-GAC honors.
Blaine Whitson was 19
th at 26:49.4.
Nathan Crowson was 26
th at 27:13.8 and
Tommy Uglean finished in 28 minutes flat for 33
rd.

Hunter Doucette and
Grant Alexander, both back from injury, were 45
th and 46
th with times of 29:51.9 and 30:18.1, respectively.
