OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Baptist improved five strokes from the first round and finished fifth at the Great American Conference Preview, played at Lake Hefner North Golf Course Monday and Tuesday.

The Lady Bison finished at 314 as a team, matching their second-lowest total of the fall. OBU finished one stroke out of fourth place in the field comprised of eight GAC schools.

Freshman
Elly Baze shot her lowest round of the year at one-over 73 to finish tied for fifth place at 153. It was the second best round for any Lady Bison golfer this season.

Kadrian Shelton finished in 77 strokes, matching her season low to finish 13th place at 157.
Emma Williams had a 163 total after an 82 on her final round.

Michelle Carr shot 86 Tuesday to post a 164 two-round total, and
Shannen Stewart fired an 82 for a score of 165.

Paige Neidy shot 86 to pace five individual competitors for the Lady Bison.
Olivia Klefsaas got around the course in 88 strokes,
Grace Johnson finished in 90, and
Sidney Stover shot 93 Tuesday.
Isabella Scarinzi rounded out the day for OBU with a 94.

Oklahoma Baptist will take one week off before wrapping up the fall season at the NCCAA National Championships Oct. 24-26 in Panama City Beach, Florida.
