SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist's series win at Southern Arkansas proved big as the Bison moved into the NCAA Division II Central Regional Rankings on Wednesday.

Jace Brewer's squad was slotted eighth in this week's regional poll. OBU is 40-13 this spring and is one of eight teams in the Central Region with 40 wins or more.
The top eight teams in the region advance to the NCAA Central Region Tournament. The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds will each host three other teams on May 14-16 in a double-elimination format. The winner of each tournament will then advance to the super regional, a three-game series hosted by the higher seed on May 19-20.
