Altyn Bartley of Oklahoma Baptist posted a pair of NCAA provisional marks during Oklahoma's OU O Ring Alumni Open this weekend.
In the hammer throw, she finished in 10th with a mark of 53.28 meters. Bartley then followed up in the shot put with a fourth-place effort of 14.09m. Also in the shot put,
Kiara Stallin took fifth (13.70m) while
Jenn Blackford notched sixth (13.52m). Also,
JuliAnna Crews PR'd in the same event (12.26m).
Skylar Myers shined in a couple other field events for OBU. She took third in the triple jump (10.83m) and fourth in the long jump (5.43m). Lastly,
Lauren Olson snagged 12th place in the discus throw by reaching 38.89m.
The Bison return to action starting on April 29 at the Great American Conference Outdoor Championship. Hosted by Harding in Searcy, Ark., OBU is aiming to win its fifth straight title.
