FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist's 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams showcased the Bison's Friday efforts during the John McDonnell Invitational at the University of Arkansas.
In the 4x100,
Bianca Gleim,
Emery Lomon,
De'ja Rose and
Olivia Tate claimed seventh place with a time of 45.76. That met NCAA D2 qualifying standards and stands as the No. 7 time in the nation.
Then in the 4x400, Gleim,
Asia Foster,
Trista Etheridge and
Favour Okoye dialed up a third-place finish with a time of 3:40.48. That, too, met a provisional standard as was the third-best performance in D2.
Mekenzie Lyda also delivered a provisional mark in the 800. She crossed in fifth place with a time of 2:10.56.
Also of note,
Jenn Blackford and
Kiara Stallin claimed sixth and eighth, respectively, in the shot put event. Those performances yielded heaves of 13.16 meters and 12.84.
Lastly,
Bella Driver and
Diamond Lewis earned 14th and 19th place in the 100-meter hurdles with times of 14.58 and 14.87, respectively.
