RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist senior
Greenlee Wells was named the Great American Conference Player of the Week on Monday. It's her third award this season.
The shortstop posted these numbers in the Bison's three-game sweep of East Central:
A .625 batting average; 1.625 slugging mark; .727 on-base; five hits; two homers and eight RBI. She also scored six runs and drew three walks.
Wells' senior season has been spectacular so far. She's the GAC and national leader with 14 homers, 87 total bases and 43 RBI. The Vian, Okla., native is also top three in slugging (1.261).
