SHAWNEE – The greatest DII season in school history took another step higher on Tuesday as Oklahoma Baptist rose to No. 6 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches rankings.
OBU, winners of 17 straight and outright champs of the Great American Conference, climbed a spot after winning its last two regular-season games against Northwestern and East Central.

Jason Eaker's team is 26-2 overall and has been in the NABC's poll throughout the entire season.
The team's postseason starts on March 5 when it faces Henderson State in the GAC Tournament from Northside Arena in Fort Smith, Ark.
