SEARCY, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist struggled to find its offensive rhythm on Thursday night, falling 69–40 to Harding inside Rhodes-Reaves Field House.
The Bison (10–10, 6–8 GAC) were held to single-digit scoring in each of the first two quarters as the Lady Bisons built control early. Harding opened the contest with a 17–6 advantage after one quarter and extended the margin to 37–13 at the break following a strong second period.
OBU showed improvement coming out of halftime, scoring 12 points in the third quarter and 15 more in the fourth, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome as Harding (17–3, 11–3 GAC) maintained its lead throughout.
Parker Stevenson led Oklahoma Baptist in scoring with nine points, connecting on all five of her free-throw attempts.
Jordyn Anderson added eight points, while
Brenna Butler chipped in six points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Jaedyn Getman pulled down a team-high six rebounds, while
Sarah Davison provided a spark off the bench with three points and three rebounds in limited minutes.
Oklahoma Baptist shot 25.0 percent from the field and 11.8 percent from three-point range, while Harding finished at 40.4 percent overall and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc. The Lady Bisons also held a 44–33 rebounding edge and scored 33 bench points, creating separation over the course of the game.
Harding was led by Josie Williams' 14 points, while Amelia Rogers added 13 points off the bench.
