RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist women's track and field members
Asia Foster and
Jamora Horace were recognized for their efforts by the Great American Conference.
Foster earned the league's Track Athlete of the Week award while Horace garnered Field Athlete of the Week accolades.
During last weekend's New Mexico Team Open Meet, Foster took sixth place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 54.77. That's the fastest performance in the GAC this season and ranks seventh nationally.
As for Horace, she won the high jump competition at the same meet, reaching 1.81 meters. That is the No. 1 performance in the nation as of this writing.
Both performances by these ladies were NCAA provisional marks too.
