SHAWNEE, Okla. — Oklahoma Baptist erased a nine‑point deficit in the final 3:34 and beat Ouachita Baptist 60–59 on a
Jordyn Anderson free throw with two seconds left Saturday at the Noble Complex. The game featured seven ties and six lead changes, and OBU closed on a 10–0 run to move to 13–13 (9–11 GAC).
Jaedyn Getman powered the Bison with a 27-point, 12-rebound double-double, going 11-of-17 at the line and sparking the late charge. Anderson added 9 points and 5 rebounds,
Katelyn Davis scored 10 — including a clutch three inside the final two minutes — and
Parker Stevenson provided 8 off the bench.
OBU trailed 59–50 after a Madeleine Tipton three with 3:34 remaining, but the defense locked in, holding the Tigers scoreless the rest of the way while stacking trips to the stripe. Davis buried a three and then two free throws to cut it to one, Getman tied it at the line with 2:22 left, and Anderson drew contact with :02 on the clock — hitting the second free throw for the winning point. On the final play, Davis blocked Tipton's desperation three at the horn to seal it.
For the game, OBU shot 31.6% from the field and 4-for-19 from three, compensating with a 20-for-29 day at the stripe and a 38–35 edge on the glass. The Bison posted 12 second‑chance points, 26 points in the paint, 11 bench points, and 8 fast‑break points. Ouachita was led by Tipton's 24 points (5 threes) and 9 rebounds.
The Bison travel to Northwestern Oklahoma State next Thursday to continue fighting for their spot in the GAC Tournament.
