Bison Secure Road Win

BETHANY, Okla. – A dominant second-half performance powered Oklahoma Baptist to a 70–61 road victory over Southern Nazarene on Thursday night inside the Sawyer Center. The win moves the Bison to 11–11 on the season and 7–9 in Great American Conference play.

After a slow offensive start that saw OBU trail 28–25 at halftime, the Bison caught fire out of the locker room, outscoring SNU 22–14 in the third quarter and 23–19 in the fourth to take control late. Oklahoma Baptist shot 47.1% in the third and 61.5% in the fourth, turning a narrow deficit into a comfortable road win.

Senior Jaedyn Getman delivered a standout performance, posting a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, including eight on the defensive glass. She finished 8-of-13 from the field.
Katelyn Davis followed closely with 17 points, including two threes, and went 5-of-6 at the line while adding seven rebounds and a block. Brenna Butler contributed 11 points, six rebounds, and two assists.

In the backcourt, Parker Stevenson tallied eight points and five assists, and Jordyn Anderson added seven points, four assists, and a team-high four steals. Off the bench, Sydney Duncan provided a spark with six points on 2-of-3 three-point shooting.

As a team, OBU shot 42.6% from the field, 40.0% from three, and 81.8% at the stripe (18-of-22). The Bison won the boards 37–33, logged 13 assists, and produced 30 points in the paint.
Southern Nazarene was paced by Nessa Begay's 17 points, while Halyn Browning added 12 points with four made threes. The Crimson Storm finished at 35.0% shooting overall.
