LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After the best start in program history, Oklahoma Baptist was ranked No. 24 by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Tuesday.
The NFCA/Go Rout Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by the NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll Committee. The committee consists of 16 NCAA Division II head coaches with two representing each of the NCAA's eight regions.
OBU is 10-0 so far this season. That includes a win over current No. 14 Oklahoma Christian, a team the Bison defeated 2-1 on Feb. 7 in Edmond.
This next week brings some quality competition for coach
Jace Brewer's squad, and a chance to move up in the rankings.
On Feb. 12 in Tahlequah, the Bison will face No. 13 Rogers State and No. 7 Central Oklahoma.
