STUNT Season Preview

SHAWNEE, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist STUNT enters the 2026 campaign with championship expectations once again, opening the season ranked No. 2 nationally in the preseason STUNT poll and celebrating 10 years of competition as one of the nation's premier programs. Fresh off a third-place national finish in 2025, the Bison are set for another demanding schedule while continuing to build on a decade of sustained excellence.

Last Season Recap
OBU closed the 2025 regular season with a 10–1 overall record, before advancing to the STUNT National Championship tournament in Nashville, Tennessee. The Bison earned wins over Maryville University and Vanguard University before falling in tightly contested matchups to Jessup University and Davenport University, finishing the season ranked No. 3 in the nation.

Momentum into 2026
With much of the core roster returning, OBU enters 2026 carrying both experience and momentum. The Bison welcome an impact freshman class that immediately bolsters depth across all rounds, while veteran leaders continue to set the standard in practice and competition.
"As we enter the 2026 STUNT season and celebrate our 10th year competing, the excitement around this team is incredibly high," said Head STUNT Coach Jessica Wolverton. "We've welcomed an exceptionally strong freshman class that has already elevated our depth and competitiveness, and the returners have set the standard with their leadership and work ethic. We're looking forward to opening the season at home against Southern Nazarene University and Oklahoma State University and showcasing the growth, grit, and culture this program has built over the last decade."

Student-Athlete Perspective
"STUNT pushes me both physically and mentally in ways that many people don't see or understand," said Madi Neubert, Junior. "This season my team and I want to show that our sport is about competition, growth, and showing why STUNT belongs on the same stage as the other collegiate sports."
"This stunt season has been intense and motivating as we continue to prepare and improve together," said Chloe Harris, Senior. "We're building momentum as a team, and I'm excited to step out and show the world the work we've put in. It's empowering to be part of something that's growing and opening doors for future athletes."
